Have you noticed that where there are statues, there always seems to be pidgeons?  The Dominican Republic is no exception.  Reuben, our excursion guide, caught this unexpectant fowl with his bare hands (and the help of some corn).  Katie, an honorary group member, got a little attached.  (Actually, she was quick to let it go, but she sure smiled big for the photo).
