In a small, isloated island, the great war shall begin...

On the island of Lorian, two small kingdoms prosper in the serene setting.  The kingdom of Galaden a kingdom with vast resorces where farmers, fisherman, miners, and all kinds of workers toiled endlessly.  The King, Lasrick III, was a kind ruler, patient with his subject.  He established the knights of Galaden, a honorable fighting unit which withheld peace throughout the land.  On the oppisite end was the kingdom of Lillian. Lillian is a bustling trade community, with towering buildings and a sprawling population.  The devoted(though slightly greedy) Queen Lilith took care of the problems of this city and managed resources, and also built a large and majestic port for off island trading.  The mage's council was also formed near the castle town, where all mages studied and a seat of 6 elders mage decesions for the magic community.  Both kingdoms propsered, trading for many many years and growing.  Until the faithful day when two ships arrived.

They called themselves the discplies of god, holy clerics.  Upon the shores of Galaden they landed, and began preaching their faith.  Upon the oppsite shore, as well, clerics of the oppsite deity, the Demon Lord landed, bringing their faith to the people of Lillian.  Both setting up major church, they began effecting the community, and a great hatered begin to grow bewteen the two kingdoms.  Trade came to a standstill, and they both began amassing armies.  Then, a group of mages and warrior attacked a small band of patrolling knights, and the great war began.

For the next several years, battles ensued.  None of the small communties were left out, except for the small monstary of elite fighters of Laiktu.  No one dared attack, the powerful warriors were the only ones left out, prefering their calm meditation.  For the next 100 years, the conflict continued, until one day.

A cleric, who's name was long forgotten, found a pendent and invoked a powerful spell, at the cost of his life.  He broke the seal dividing earth and hell, and the Demon Lord rose to the once peaceful island.  As well as a legion of monsters.  The island fell into darkness, and both kingdoms were sieged by the great lord.  All hope was seemingly lost, and both kingdom's armies began to topple from the might of the monsters.  The Demon Lord took over both kingdoms, and sat at the throne of Lillian.   The few remaining clerics moved into hiding, and a reign of darkness began.

Then, a great warrior arose from the ashes of the dieing island.  Only know as Yuusha came, rumored to have decended from heaven.  He singlehandedly fought his way into the castle of the Demon King, and finally faced him.  He, after a long and tedious battle, finally sealed him away with a Holy Dagger.  Life returned, and the kingdoms slowly rebuilt themselves.   The dark Clerics receded into the Marshes of Movian, and peace returned to the land.

1000 years after this great conflict, strange things began happening.

King Johnthan of Lillian began building a a massive army.  Queen Rose of Gildean began hiring more and more knights to their service,  in relation.  The mage's concil went into deep debate, the Monstary of Laitu began sending fighters out of the monstary to patroll.  For the first time the Dark Clerics left their small Chruch at the Marshes and began traveling throughout Lorian.  The few monsters breed after the war on the Monster Farm, Chalan began acting strangly.  Monsters, for the first time in 1000 years, once again attacking the people of Lorian.

In the small moutain town of Zaki, a 16 year old boy was practicing swordplay at the edge of the summit.  Tae, a decendent of the blood of Yuusha, was praticing to join the small group of warriors that protected his town.  On that snowy day, he saw a flaming object flying down from the sky.  He ran towards it, and found a shining object in a puddle of melted snow.

It was a small dagger, marked with ancient runes.

Now, an adventure will begin that will decide the fate of the island of Lorian.
