The Fly Ranch
by Metric

The Fly Geyser, when it was just a pipe in the ground.
My understanding is that they were drilling for potable water and hit a geothermal pocket.
Thanks to Beverly Osborn for the photo.

Here it is again as it looked in 1975.
Kelli Grant let me use this photo from her collection

The Fly Geyser today, as we know and love.

This is my humble home on the Fly Ranch looking south, photo from near Thanksgiving by Donna Macknet.

Naaaww, this is my cabin!!
The building in the background I call the stable
(salt lick, horse shit)

My Bathtub

These are Russian Olive trees by the Artesian spring.

This photo from Bill Carson's proof sheet shows the state of the house that I am dismantling
from about 3 weeks ago, styrofoam insulation strewn about and roof gone.
I've since removed the interior lumber and the north, west, and south facing walls.
