A 1964 D Rosie dime.  I would say that it is in EF+ condition and shows no probe marks, only slight wear.  Price guide lists EF at $1.00.

Worked a school.  Was built around 1916.  There is a lot of trash.  $2.63 in clad coins.  The best find was 2 Mercury Dimes laying on top of each other.  Not bad for 4 hours work with the 3300.  The temperature was in the mid to upper 90's so I tried to work shade areas as much as possible.  Brought home $2.63 in clad coins, 2 Mercs and 3 handfulls of trash.

Left - 1935 D Price Guide - VF - $2.50
Right - 1945 D Price Guide - EF - $2.00

Had a couple hours before work.  Went to the Methodist Church yard next door with the Pioneer 505.  First signal was a zinc penny, 4" deep.  At 2.5" found an Indian Head penny dated 1899.  Fine condition $5.00

Took the 3300 out to the church, had a few hours before work and went back over the area where I found the Indian Head Penny.  Again, within 15 minutes.  This one was a little deeper - 4" and was far more difficult to find.  I finally had to wave handfulls of dirt in front of the coil to find it.  Est Value $1.38

Went to an old park and found a 10 K gold baby's ring with a white stone.  It hit as a zinc penny at 6" on the 3300 .   I probed and probed, hit what I thought was a small rock and the ring popped outta the ground.  Only had about 1 hour of time in due to a thunder storm approaching.  The ring was the last dig and a very good one to end the day with.

Went over to the Church yard, didn't have much time so I random hit areas.  Didn't find any $$, but dug up an old 12 gauge shotgun shell base.  Research on the info from the headstamp revealed that it was manufactured by US Cartridge Company, 1864-1938 and the brand was USC Co. Defiance.  Now I got to thinking what would a shotgun cartridge be doing in the backyard of a Church?  Maybe it was a SHOTGUN WEDDING!?

Went to another church.  A few clad pennies, lots of junk and a 1910 Excelisor Boy Scout Token ($10-$13).   From information I was able to find, this token was produced by the Excelisor Shoe Company as a marketing ploy to get Scouts to buy their shoes.  There are 3 versions of the token, this one is the scarce version of the three.  It is in very good shape; the detail is sharp and shows little wear.

Went to a neighboring town not expecting to find much.  Walked away with almost $7.00 in clad coins. (Best day so far)  Most were found in a 30'x70' area at the baseball field.  Went to another site in the town and found a mens Fossil Blue watch, a friend says he buys this brand and model for $90.  The crystal is intact, the battery is dead but otherwise it is in excellent shape.
2006 was a hot and dry summer.    Some of 2006 finds were
