| Blue a fifteen year old, 17hh HSUS rescue horse adopted by David and his wife Debi. No one knew just what had happened to him or how he ended up in starved condition at a farm. He was found by a woman who had shown him in Dressage. Blue no longer had any respect for people, was arrogant, highly food possesive, and had some pretty strong bucking muscles. Yet he showed a desire to please and could be quite comical. |

| Blue was quite a nervous horse when he first came to the ranch. However, after allowing him to just be a horse on 150 acres for a few weeks while maintaining a calm, daily contact when providing a special diet for him, Blue seemed more receptive to human involvement in his life. Within one month, Blue became a trustworthy trail mount for Debi, as well as a new found friend and shadow. |

| Cedar Mountain Jewel is David's new pride and joy! For almost twenty years, a mule was something David hoped to obtain. 2005 brought this dream to reality. David received Jewel as a gift, a baby out of a mare he had trained. At left, David and Jewel meet for the first time when she is just 11 hours old. |
| In January, 2006, Jewel came home. David looks forward to many years together and her training has gotten off to a great start! |
