This isn't a professional website - I just put it together so that I could use it to continue my research into the TV schedules of that peculiar golden age of television that starts with transmissions in colour, which I'm setting as being the first week of 1970, and the start of Channel 4's broadcasts in November 1982.
There are alot of very good websites that deal with particular programmes, series, stars and even production companies, and even one or two that provide listings for particular days, I couldn't find any that actually listed what was on television day by day, week by week so that I could get a sense of what people were watching every day.
Also, some series have become Cinderella like and have little or no mention on other websites, series such as Pot Black, It's a Knockout and The Wonderful World of Disney to name but three. Yet these were programmes that were, at one time, watched by millions.
Anyway, a few points to cover.
Copyright - this remains with the respective owners. If anyone believes that I am infringing their copyright then please let me know.
Contributions - if you would like to contribute your own schedules then please use the same format as I've used. Please only submit complete weeks and try to include episode details and any other brief but useful information for each programme. I am particularly interested in schedules for ITV as I'm having alot of trouble finding schedules for this period.
