In a small dorm room on the campus of Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan fifteen talented and anointed individuals became to be known as the “Voices of Deliverance, Power and Praise.”  Its founder Min. Clyde L. Webster established this singing crusade ministry in August 2000 on the principles of Salvation, Deliverance, Worship and Praise.  The choir’s scriptural foundations are Psalms 107:9 and Psalms 111 with the charge to be “the Voices who will deliver through powerful praise”.  VDPP is doing just that!  Vowed not to be just another ordinary choir or group with the anointing and gifting God has released upon their lives, they come to break the molds of tradition and formality in order to present salvation and deliverance to people of all colors, countries, ethnicities and nationalities as they deliver the unadulterated word of God through the Ministry of Music!

Min. Clyde L. Webster, the group’s founder is a member of Ekklesia Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. (One Church in Two Locations).  His pastors are Superintendent Sean & Angela Jarrett, M.Div., who are the spiritual coverings of VDPP.  Clyde is currently earning his Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems (MIS) and plans to go on to earn his Master & Doctorate in Divinity & Theology.  Min. Webster is also the Founding President of the Deliverance Power and Praise Ministries, Inc., which is a non-profit Christian Performing Arts Ministry.

VDPP has participated in many local church and community events.  They have traveled and ministered in many areas outside of Detroit, which includes Atlanta, GA., Cleveland, OH, Saginaw, MI and Philly, PA with their sister group Zak Williams & One Accord (formally HYPE Praise).  VDPP has shared the stage with such artists as Kirk Franklin, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Bishop Bruce Parham, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Derrick Milan & the KREW, The Thomas Whitfield Company, Michael Fletcher & The Michael Fletcher Chorale, The Futch Brothers, The Eastern Michigan University Gospel Choir and many others.  VDPP was featured during the 2002 Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA), which was hosted in Detroit, Michigan at COBO Hall.

Heading into their 5th year of ministry, VDPP is in great demand gaining local and national attention in the Christian & Secular communities for their powerful anointed music ministry that have caused many people to enter a new dimension of worship and praise, and have brought about change, deliverance and salvation in their lives.  Future plans include the incorporation of a Christian Performing Arts & Ministry Centre.  The campus will house their corporate offices, an After School Performing Arts Enrichment Program, various weekly Christian outlet activities as well as a State of the Art Performing Arts Auditorium.

VDPP’s focus is and will always remain on Christ and they will stand firm in their faith in God going forth shouting...”We’ve got a work to do and a vision to conquer!” as they are continuously reminded by their founder.  Inevitably...

“BECAUSE GOD IS THE GREATEST FORCE WE SHALL NOT BE DEFEATED!”
