Power 106 finally found a replacement for Snoop Dogg in their 4:00 to 6:00 pm slot on Saturday evenings. DJ Quik along with guests which have included Suga Free and a call by WC. Quick's first show was on September 9th. WC called in to congratulate him on getting the job and to thank him for producing a track for WC's upcoming album Ghetto Heisman (Due out sometime in 2001). WC also mentioned that is album will come out on DEF JAM. Quik's show is titled Way Too Funky Radio and plays what Quik wants. he has played several cuts off the late Mausberg's album NonFiction which is due out on Ocotober 17th. WC also gave props to DJ Quik s being one of the best producers out their and wished him good lick with the show and he said he is looking forward to working with Quik again.
