To find employment that combines my past experience, as an entrepreneur and employee within the entertainment industry, with the research, communications and pedagogical skillsets that have been developed through my present education and employment within the field of academics.
Immediately, I am looking for work in the retail sector, preferably a bookshop or metaphysical store where I can apply my knowledge base in cultural history (European and North American, Early Modern Period to present-day pop-culture) and religious studies (Islamic, Judaic, Western Esoteric).
My most recent employment experience (Gourmet Warehouse, Vancouver. July 2005-August 2006) was an extension of my passion for the culinary arts, but broadened by CV in retail through my management of two annual inventories, and familiarization with the L-Boss Inventory software and PT630 handheld scanner. I also translated food ingredient labels from English into French.
