Greta, Rob, and I summited Kita Dake, Japans second highest mountain, last July.  We had all climbed Fuji, Japanese tallest, and agreed that the view OF Fuji far surpasses the view ON Fuji.  We had a great Fuji-filled morning after we camped in the clouds.  Was quite a race back to the car in the AM that left G&I with sore legs for a few days (Rob claimed his legs were fine...!?!?).  Awesome weekend.
Parts of the climb were on these rickety bridges/ladders with huge MI2 drops down the side.  We pulled a few of Tom's moves to arrive safely at the bottom!
Steep!
Snow?!  In July?!  We had to hike across!
Only a few wipeouts each though!

There she is!  That's the view from the start - we climbed to the top of that mountain from here.  Looks like cement up there, I thought, but it was just some July snow!
