Power Supplies

A power supply unit (aka power supply or PSU) is a device or system that supplies electrical or other types of energy to an output load or group of loads. Measured in watts, they range in power but nowadays are around 400-500 Watts. The more devices connected to the motherboard, the more wattage may be needed. Video cards usually require additional power (other than that provided by PCI or AGP).
