Adapter Cards

  These card are used in the PCI and PCI-e slots. They can includes adapters for USB, Firewire, PCMCIA cards, television tuners, RAID configuration cards, SATA and PATA. The reason for these are just to expand on what is already on the motherboard, or add on if they aren't there. With the two PATA plugs on the board, you can only have two hard drives and two optical drives, but add another you can double that to four and four. You can hook up TV to your computer with a tv tuner card, and get a dvr program, and you can record TV onto your HDD.
