The Pentagram

The Pentagram is a 5-pointed star, with
the sides interwoven. Because it can be
drawn with one line, it is also called the
Endless Knot. Other names are the
Devil's Star, the Witch's Foot and the
Goblin's Cross.
When the pantagram is drawn with
a circle around it, it is called
a Pentacle. The circle symbolizes protection.
Each corner symbolizes a different element:

Earth: represents stability and physical endurance.
Fire: represents courage and daring.
Water: represents emotions and intuition.
Air: represents intelligence and the arts.
Spirit: represents the All and the Divine

* Please note, that the pentagram is NOT a satanist symbol. The signs of the Devil include an INVERTED pentagram. The inverted pentagram displays the Spirit on the bottom, thus indicating that Spirit is subservient to matter. Satanists invert the pentagram to express their belief that their immediate, physical needs are more important than spiritual or moral value. Do not be misled.
