Nick Central - Now Open! Dreamworld's Nick Central attraction is now attraction is now open, and as we all knew all along, Reptar Runaway Roller Coaster (Vekoma junior invert) is now open.  The new ride is however, the only new ride in the area, with most of the rides being moved from elsewhere in the park.  (Including reptar, the average age of the rides in the area is 17.14 years).  Don't despair however, as the area is home too 2 brand spanking new shows, a new playground, and is one of the most spacious areas in an Australian theme park.

News!!  26/12/2001:
Dreamworld has hit back against Seaworld's Polar Bear shores, (and the new Polar bear cubs) by bringing in cubs of their own.  The two tiger cubs, Kato and Kaasha, were born on the 24th of October at Bullen's Wildlife Sanctuary, and will take up residency in the parks 'Tiger Island' attraction.  They have already made their public debut, and are expected to reach maturity by 4 years of age. Update: 6/9/02 After 10 months, Tiger cub Kaasha has died.  No details are currently on hand, but it appears that the other residents are unaffected by the recent events.  Word on the street is that Kaasha died of a stroke while being tested for her Asthma.
