So even t hough I'm not doing anything in particular with my meditation now - since it's part of my yoga practice - I guess I'll still write about it. This way ADF will know that I am doing it on a regular basis. It's just that after writing about it the first few times, there's not always something new - you do the breathing, you go into the meditation, you come out of it. Somthing meaningful doesn't happen every time. There's nothing wrong with that - it's still incredibly relaxing, especially when I do it as part of yoga. Now that I'm pregnant, I can't lie on my back any more, so I use a body pillow between my knees and lay on my side. I think that until the baby is born, I'll keep the yoga meditation positions since they're safer and a LOT more comfortable. With all the aches and pains of pregnancy, it hurts to sit in a cross-legged possition - in fact, it hurts to sit in almost any possition. About the only place I'm 100% comfortable is in my husband's recliner.
So yesterday and the day before I did the yoga + meditation. It was good, relaxing. Got some kinks out of my achey body.
