My name is Bill ….better known as Downunder in chat circles.

I have set this page up to let the world know a bit about my country, my town, myself and my family

I live in a country town on the northern slopes of New South Wales Australia called Tamworth with my wife Sonya

I have retired and Sonya is still slaving away at a local retail nursery here in Tamworth (much to her disgust ….*S*)

My working life was spent mainly on pastoral properties running Sheep and Cattle ...the latter period being spent working with computers in a Stock and Station Agent in both Sydney and here in Tamworth

Sonya and I have two sons ….Peter and David

Peter the Eldest is married to Vicki and they have two daughters Dana (4) and Erica (2)

So Sonya and I are the proud grandparents of two beautiful little girls

Tamworth our home town, is the home of country Music in Australia and hosts the annual Golden Guitar awards each year in January at out Country Music Festival

The golden Guitar awards are the major award system in Australia for excellence in the CM field.

Since my retirement I have involved myself in voluntary work here in Tamworth for two of my pet passions …..plants and animals ….specifically Australian plants and Australian animals and of course as all my friends know over the past few years I have become increasingly involved in the Internet and the chat scene
