Home Network Boasting and Ideas Page

Well, I have a new idea for a web site. Imagine that. It goes a little like this:

People can visit the web site to boast about their home networking setup. The idea comes from a paltry feature of the www.dslreports.com web site where you can submit the structure of your home network. I say paltry because it has so much potential to succeed. So, I have decided to create a site where people can enter their rig in a competition-type style, where advice is given, tips are exchanged, and products are reviewed.

Basically anything goes, from 2 PC network with a 56k net connection, to The Full Monty (a 48 PC rig with an OC-256 connection/backbone). If you've got that, invite me over. I'll shape it up in a jiffy.

Tell me what you think. I think that it will fly, myself. Searching the net, I have not been able to find anything like it. There needs to be a place to boast and to buy and sell used hardware from each other. People could get to know each other, perhaps link their systems in a huge LAN. Everything will work towards my dream in the end. More on that in another site.
