If You wish to Contribute to this Web Site

Reason I Need Help:

I am a high school student with a heavy schedule. I am enrolled in an honors program, on top of college courses I attend at my local community college. Time is not a leisure I enjoy in my life.

How You Can Help:

If you believe your work would be of value to this web site and all who visit it, and you have the time to contribute your efforts, I would appreciate any summary you can supply me with.

What needs to be Done:

First, the main text of the book needs to be summarized. This comprises the bulk of the work that needs to be done. To see what needs to be done, please check the Table of Contents. The chapters which have the words "Open to Contribution" in parenthesis next to them need to be worked on.
Second, the Makers of America sections need to be completed.
Third, the Varying Viewpoints sections need to be completed.

Format of Submissions:

I write my own HTML, so I would appreciate it if you submitted your work in plain text format (i.e. Notepad), headed by your alias (or your name), how old you are (optional, just to see who is visiting my site), where you are from (optional), and what information you would like me to include on the web page about you.
Please include the name of the chapter, then follow the format of existing documents on this site. Put three returns before subtitles, put a colon after subtitles, and put two returns after the colon.
None of the work should be in paragraph form, but in list form (one return after each sentence or few relavent sentences) under each subtitle. This follows the rest of the summaries, and saves me a lot of time in converting to HTML.
Please include all important events and concepts, leaving out unimportant comparisons and references. To fully understand what I mean, read a section of Chapter 1, then read its corresponding summary. You should get the hang of it.
Only summarize. Don't comment or speculate. Include only what can be found in the book and no more. This is not a web site devoted to theory, but one devoted solely to summary.
Please follow these guidelines, as it creates a uniformness that is necessary for any web site to be successful in delivering its point. Thank you for your efforts.
