Blackthorne Software Discussion Forum: Seller's Assistant Release: THIS REALLY STINKS - WHAT A RIP-OFF!!!

Does this mean that those of us who have purchased versions of AA will be provided with a free upgrade for 1 year and then be dumped by Blackthorne unless we are prepared pay the monthly rate? If so I will be looking for a new software product. This is like you buying a car, paying the full rate, and the next year being charged extra just because the "new model " that this years customers will be buying has a few extra options.
If this is the case, this is the most under-handed way I have ever heard of to try and "soft-sell a process which is strictly a move by Blackthorne to generate extra revenue by going to a "rental" system with no regard for those supporters who have used and endorsed your products up to this point. Will we get a full refund for the system we have purchased and which will be OBSOLETE as soon as the switch over takes place. This is very cosy for ebay and Blackthorne but really sucks, BIGTIME for people who have purchased your software, with a view to a long term relationship with your company - after all the promises of "commitment, product reliability, upgrades and product support from Blackthorne? I must have mis-read this - because I just don't believe you would even consider such a slimy, unethical proposition!
IF ANYONE KNOWS OF AN ALTERNATIVE SOFTWARE PRODUCT PLEASE POST ASAP

Some of us have already latched on to this software in light of what has happened. www.kinem.com It seems to be a good deal and much cheaper than AA.

I have been emailing www.kinem.com This guy is GREAT ! He responds to inquiries instantly, and is not greedy. Best of all, his software is far superior to anything Blackthorne offers. If John Slocomb were smart, he'd offer kinem $50K quick to buy him out !
