I say the little people because, that is who this is going to effect the most. I sell on eBay because I am an at home mom with 3 kids and it helps. What once was an easy way for me to stay active in the "business world", keep my mind stimulated and keep me on deadlines even if I set the standards, has become crazy. If I were working outside the home in an office we would have a name for this I am sure. This will hurt me and my family, whom have become accustomed to me collecting boxes to ship and working at my computer. Even my 7 year old asks me if we can sell it on eBay? Selling on eBay has helped pay for her to play baseball in the summer and pictures and the things we could not afford otherwise on one income. I am and have been a beta tester using the program everyday and helping in any I could. I did not even get an email telling of the news, I had to read it on Cy's site! I do not run a huge company my major decision making involves if my daughter can wear a dress to school three days a week. You get my point! The idea that eBay has raised their fees and paypal now charges and to use billpoint is a fee. Now, blackthorne will charge a fee also in a year. It really is expected, I mean no one was a packers fan until they won the super bowl (no offense anyone)! I frankly, expected the fee a month ago, and I really don't think that with all the fees that my finacial staus will change much in a year and honestly even if I wanted to keep up with pro at that time I just don't think I can afford it. That is what it boils down to for me...being able to afford the fees! I am not mad and I am not irate I just don't think I can afford the 16.00 a month it will take to keep me going in a year. That is the shame of it, and I just keep thinking I started doing this MAINLY to keep my mind sharp so that when I do go back to work I would be able to answer that question "so...what have you been doing for the past 5 years Mrs. Wicker?" And at that point I could pull out my "eBay Resume" and say well you see...


Enough said, in my opinion it is affordabilty for the little people.
