| 15/12/03 - Weee, Christmas! Not much to rant about, except music, so here goes. Well, I hate rap, techno, R'n'B, hip hop, and anything that doesn't meana nothing or doesn't need an especially excellent voice. Eminem is okay, and he can carry a tune ("Hailey's Song" is my favourite), but he's not especially brilliant. I own no rap, hip hop, tehcno or R'n'B albums. I can't stand them, and I'm rather open minded, and very eclectic. I like shows like Idol, because you do actually get talent. Admittedly, early versions of those shows were crappy, because they got some skinny idiots who could sing a little and tried to make them superstars. But the talent reality TV shows have improve dout of sight. Take American Idol 2. Okay, so the one I was going for didn't win, but he got second place. Talking about Clay Aiken, by the way. Now, he can SING, really SING. That's talent, raw and good. He's amazing. Kelly Clarkson, winner of American Idol 1 is excellent, and same with Australian Idol winner, Guy Sebastian (you lot wouldn't've heard of him unless you live in Aussie or NZ). I also like Idols shows because they sing stuff like 'Build Me Up Buttercup' and 'Everlasting Love' and 'Vincent' and 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' and 'Sugar Pie Honey Bunch' and 'Solitaire'. (Most songs that Clay Aiken sung - imagine my delight.) They bring back songs that have been kind of forgotten and made them popular again - not to mention, I get to listen to my favourites. But the Idols get to sing on "Seventies night" and "Sixties night" and "Eighties night" - it's brilliant! Alternative's a great genre, and one of my favourites (same with rock) but I don't limit my taste to that - I'm too eclectic, it seems, which is great 'cuz I don't have to conform. I'm not into pop music (the occasional one is okay - Clay sings a few pop songs - mainly ballads, and I love ballads), but some stuff is okay. I don't pick from one genre, I just go with whatever song I like the sound of, like the lyrics of. I love Clay Aiken because he can sing amazingly well (it's almost unfair) and I love R.E.M because the lyrics those guys produce are amazing. The problem I have with modern R'n'B/hiphop/rap (most of it, anyway) is that they aren't amazing singers and the lyrics aren't that great either. Anyway, that was meant to be quick, but I tend to rant about music. 27/4/03 - Fucking hell...have you ever felt like the whole world's against you? Seeing that this site is directed and dedicated towards the youth of the world, I guess so. But JESUS...why did everything decide to be so fucking complicated? And of course, I feel like it's all about ME, so therefore I feel selfish, and then depressed, brooding about what a selfish person I am, and then I rant and rave mentally about the person who made me feel this way, then remembering with horror that it's not like I haven't done what they did before, and again, to I'm-a-selfish-horrible-bitch mode. And then I run out of breath due to long unpunctuated sentences. But hey, it's a RANT, and I'm in a BAD MOOD, and I feel like SHIT and I HATE the world. My Lord, you should see my latest poetry. NO!!!! The one FUCKING thing I really really really like is not here! What kind of a Fascist, communist, Nazi-like country IS this?! They call this a democracy? HA! *bangs fist on table* Ow. *rubs hand* Anyhoo...when one single citizen just wants a Mocha Chill, does NZ provide? NO!!! So Kiwi Land may have Net cafes and supermarkets and sheep, but its still a backwards little country without mocha!!! *dies* *falls off chair* 19/01/03 - Ah-haha...y'know how you have writers block? Well, I've achieved DRAWER'S BLOCK! Ah-haha. *twitchtwitch* So I had to retaliate my screwed up drawings. Gah, I can't draw peoples bodies side on!!! Anyhoo...*reads first page of Mega Tokyo* Hahahaha. Fun-nee. People have better read Arcana. It's so funny. "Love me Mr. Coffee!!! Love meeeee!!!" XD It's so cute. Gotta love Caine. And his collar thing-o. I did one of those personality tests things -_-' in which the answer was one of the characters from Arcana. I GOT CAINE! Yeah, well...he says all the wrong things, some issues just go right over his head, when he's serious, he's serious, he tries to joke at innapropriate moments...okay, so, I wasn't that surprised when I got him. It has linolium. *nonod* Anyhoo, I'm in a Net Cafe as you know now...y'know why? 'Cuz I don't have my computer. It's in shipping. And it won't be here until 6 TO 8 BLOODY WEEKS!!! THE SAME CASE WITH MY CD PLAYER!!! AND I HAVE TO SHARE A ROOM WITH BECX WHO INSISTS ON PLAYING HER DISCMAN LOUDLY JUST TO ANNOY ME!!! ARGH!!! Anyway...*calms down a bit* I'm going to put a nice Guest Book on this site so I know people are coming in and reading this site. *looks around accusingly* Yes, I'm going to do that.
