A Coffin Labelled 'Life'
A fine line between lightness and darkness.
Though shades of grey lie in between.
Hard to decipher the black from the white.
Forgetting colours of orange, red and green.

Where theres evil, relativity rules.
Where theres goodness, cynicism dwells.
To avoid such things, submit to one.
And live there forever, in its bottomless wells.

Turn to the light and marvel the brightness,
The colours and spectrum of hues so light.
Then fall back into darkness, closing your eyes.
Somewhere thats darker, darker then night.

Something comes to tear you to shreds.
Stand there and always take the blame.
Or strike out and fight, wanting blood to spill.
And fallback submissively, head bowed in shame.

Scars scars so deep that its cuts your soul.
Whether physical or not, it will always hurt.
Remain with you forever; hold your peace if you can.
Bury yourself in the ash, coal and dirt.

You scream so loud, blood wells up,
And comes trickling down the side of your face.
Keep it up, and maybe someone will answer.
Scream louder and disturb the human race.

When the man says ash to ash, dust to dust,
Wearing black you cry out the pain.
Down into the bottomless pit of despair.
The coffin titled Life gleaming in the rain.
