LITERARY SOCIETIES
Students should not only know, but should develop the power of expressing their thoughts in a public way. It has always been a great satisfaction to the school that the pupils who have gone out from it have been able to become leaders in their respective lines of work.

SOCIAL LIFE
We believe in the development of the full man, and shall encourage the social and cultural side of life. Young men and young women are not allowed to waste time by constant association, but at stated times such associations are allowed and entertainments are planned wich tend to broaden the cultural nature.

ATHLETICS
Maynard Baptist Academy stands for clean athletics. We believe that every human being owes it to himself, to his companions and to God to make an effort to secure proportionate development of the three sides of his being. He cannot be his best self in any of these three rules unless the other part of his being has properly been trained intellectually, spiritually and physically. We believe God's ideal of a man is a strong trained mind: pure, serviceable soul, and an active powerful body. Maynard Baptist Academy tries to give proper attention to the culture and development of each.
