PURPOSE
The purpose of the Academy is to supply a long felt want between the public school and the college, where pupils can obtain a good practical education at a small cost or prepare themselves for teachers in the public schools. In our academy, pupils are thoroughly prepared for college or University courses, or for any other practical business vocation of life.

DISCIPLINE
Prompt and cheerful obedience is required of all and we insist that our students shall be ladies and gentlemen in their conduct and bearing. That they be diligent in their study, prompt and regular in attendance on all prescribed exercises, class, chapel and examinations. Only young people who are anxious to learn and who are wiling to accept advice and profit by instruction are desired.
Each and every teacher is kind and considerate, but firm in the maintenance of good order, industrious application to study and a high moral standard.
Reports will be sent to parents every nine weeks showing the progress of the students in their classes. More frequent reports will be sent for pupils who are falling behind in their class standing or whose conduct is not satisfactory
