| 4 Toilet bowl cleaner: Kool Aid. 4 Greasy hands: Pam no-stick cooking spray (Keep a can in the garage for your husband) 4 Ink stains on plastic: Peanut butter (will even work on doll faces!) 4 Baked on food: Hot water and 2 denture cleaning tablets. Soak overnight. 4 Crayon on the wall: Colgate toothpaste and brush it! 4 Fleas in your carpet: 20 Mule Team Borax - sprinkle and let stand for 24 hours. 4 Preserve a newspaper clipping: 1 large bottle of club soda and 1 C of milk of magnesia, soak the article for 20 min. and hang to dry. Will last for many years! |

| Soften Hardened Cookies If a batch of homemade cookies has dried out, soften them by placing a slice of bread in the cookie jar overnight. The cookies will absorb moisture from the bread. Vacation Packing Tip When you go on vacation, designate one suitcase as the dirty clothes hamper. Just have everyone toss dirty clothes in it (you may need more than one). Then, when you get back from your trip, carry that suitcase straight to your laundry area. The rest of the suitcases can go directly to family members' bedrooms for unpacking. |
