The parents collect food and feed "pigeon crop milk"
to their baby.  It must be very nourishing because he
grows at an astonishing rate.
At ten days of age, the little squab has a covering of new feathers. He is also able to stand up and streach his wings.
In less than two weeks, the baby has become a small
dove. He flaps his wings and is about ready to leave the nest.
