The
Dovercourt Pilot Company is open to all and whilst there is a
requirement for Pilots to attend Church, it is not stipulated
that Pilots attend Dovercourt Central Church. During the last 18
years we have had young people from most of the local churches. The Dovercourt Pilot Company meets on Friday evenings between 6pm and 7.30pm. during school term times. We take part in two major services at the Church – the Pilot Sunday, usually in April and the Toy Service in December. We are linked to all the other Pilot Companies through the United Reformed and Congregational Churches with a bi-annual event. The last of these we spent a great day at Legoland. Go to Dovercourt Pilot Company for more information and news.

people within its Christian based ethos. The need for leaders is
urgent. Training and police checks are available.
Ramsey Crusaders also meet at Ramsey Methodist Chapel from 3pm to 4pm. However it is now full, and a waiting list exists. Grand I.O.W. Adventure from April 21st - 23rd 2006 when over 30 of us went for a long Weekend to Crusaders Victorian Mansion near Ryde, to share with Colchester Crusaders a packed programme that included riding on the Centenary Steam Train Special of the I.O.W. CHILDREN WANT 24/7 CHURCH
The results of the survey are available online at |
Doug Swanney, Children's Work Development
Officer, added; “The most significant finding of the survey is that
when churches do something new, it usually works. Churches need to be
ready to take the risk of trying new things – they might just surprise
themselves with how successful they are."
