6/25/2006 [Note: There's still no official desc of the new GUN Outpost. Hence, the lack of it being in the logs.] Sensoo Here stands a snow leopard at the height of five feet and seven inches with soft white fur adorning her entire body, marked with darker striped patterns along the arms, legs, and tail. Her face however, is left stripe free with a pair of light green eyes to look out upon the world. Flowing down from the top of her head is matching colored white hair, though getting a closer look you find that her bangs have either been dyed blue, or that the natural color is growing back in. Her hair hangs down to the middle of her back in a thick and full wave with one of the front locks done up in a long briad that hangs all the way down to her feet, right close to brushing the floor at times. Two leopard ears poke out of either side of her head, parting the hair where they do; attached to the left is a large golden looped earring. She wears a generally basic outfit, a pair of white sweats that fit loosely on her, though you can still tell she's in a good trim shape due to her blue halfshirt that shows off her mid-riff and ample bosom. Finally, resting upon the snow leopard's feet are a pair of flipflops. http://charis2.servegame.com/muckpics/sensoo.jpg [ Sensoo saw you looking at her. ] Klonoa Now, here is a remarkable sight. At first glance, it might be difficult to pinpoint exactly whether the creature before you is of the feline or rabbit variety, as it shares a certain likeness to both species in a befanged smile and a pair of long, floppy "ears." While standing at a height of no more than three feet tall (give or take a few inches), the creature doesn't appear to be any older than a small boy, as a few gaps in his clothing reveal a pair of round and slender arms and legs, all covered in black fur. But as they say, appearances can be deceiving. He may not look as strong as most boys his age, but he makes up for his weakness in more unique and interesting ways. He wears a large, blue baseball cap over his head, which has been twisted backwards so that the "bill" of the cap points out from behind his head. Save for the print of a round circle with a slice taken out of it chasing after two round dots, it appears to be a pretty ordinary. From beneath the front of the twisted baseball cap, a pair of black bangs spill out in two distinct curves and sit just above eye-level. The top half of his face is covered with black fur and framed by a pair of large, cat-like eyes with amber irises, while his muzzle is covered entirely in white fur with a small, triangular brown nose sitting dead in the center. The edges of his cheek ruffs have each been pulled into two or three smooth and pointed tufts, while a dark line sitting just beneath his nose sends out a kind smile. Meanwhile, a pair of huge, rabbit-like earflaps spill out from each side of his head. At the top, they are covered in black fur, while the white fur quickly takes over in jagged markings along the middle and ends in a billowy "puff" at each end. Not opting to wander over all of Mobius without any clothes on, he wears a blue short-sleeved shirt and a pair of dark blue shorts over his body. A large zipper tab dangles somewhere just beneath the neck of the shirt on a line, while a light blue belt wraps around the back-end of his shorts and is fixed in place with a pair of large, round gold buttons. From behind, one can see his short black and white tail hang down and end in a tuft, just like his ears. Lastly, he wears a pair of dark yellow gloves over his hands and pair of large (almost too big for his feet) red sneakers with a pair of white straps over the tops of them. While this boy isn't exactly the "fighting type," he does like to carry around a single, oversized gold ring decorated with a green diamond for safekeeping. But how could anyone fight with just a ring as a weapon? It looks like only he knows the secret for certain. [ Klonoa saw you looking at him. ] Carrying: Wind Ring A large golden ring that looks like as if it could only ever be worn securely over the finger of a giant. A diamond-cut emerald frames its center and it shimmers softly in the light. Gantz You may have seen attitude and confidence before but maybe not like this. The vulpine in question is a bit taller than average, lean, lithe, and toned, not unlike many other young males around the same age. But the usual, clear smirk on his short, elegantly tapered muzzle (at the tip of which is a small, dark brown nose of equal elegance), the thin, black, typically furrowed brows, and the eyelids half lowered in a discerning manner over his sky blue, almond-shaped eyes are all distinctly smug features. Most Mobians don't have the station or the sheer power to develope such consistant condescension towards everyone. Especially not to their face. Gantz clearly doesn't share this limitation. If one bothers to continue looking longer, the rest of him is of equal interest. Most of Gantz's body is covered in pure black, sleek fur, except for the saffron interior of his large, triangular ears and the fuzzy patch covering the lower half of his face, including the long spike of fur sticking out of each cheek, the triangular patchs over his eyes, and the thin blaze that goes up the bridge of his snout. The fur on the top of his head is very smooth and pulled back into a long, slender ponytail near the nape of his neck. Perched securely on his forehead are a pair of reddish-brown leather goggles, that usually remain resting there when not in use, and somewhere, in the general area of his neck, is a large, thick ruff of fur that starts out black in the center and quickly spreads out into a golden cream color much like that on his face. Beneath this distinctive but unusual mane is a perpetually open, red jacket made of thin material. Over his big, masculine hands, and the snug sleeves of his jacket, are a pair of almost immaculately white gloves that widen near his elbows. Under all of this is a light grey shirt and a pair of close fitting grey pants that are shoved into a pair of bulky but fitted, knee-high black boots. Around his waist is a reddish-brown belt filled with bullets clips and holstered on each side are a pair of unusual red laser pistols with an elongated star emblazoned on their rectangular, blunt muzzles. Sometimes he can be seen carrying a slightly more normal looking revolver (that is nearly as large as himself and with four barrels) over one shoulder quite casually, as if it belonged there. Should he take notice of you or should his bushy, yet stumpy, black tail begin to wag... it might be time to run. [ Gantz saw you looking at him. ] The GUN Outpost of Station (Square) City is doing some pretty brisk business right now. It seems this afternoon that just about all of the GUN members currently ordered into the area have come through. In fact, this has gotten a certain vulpine to thinking. Gantz hasn't yet seen Suiryu but he knows that, whether the dragon shows his scaly face today or not, he should really consider some way to show Suiryu not to plan on messing with him again. He's still feeling sore over the knock-out gas and even though he knows he wasn't specifically targeted, the fact that Suiryu even planned on his specific reaction really gets his goat. As dusk falls, Gantz peers through the dark cafe window and sips on a smoothie while he broods. Though it is getting dark, he can still see the Mobians wandering down the street and idly wonders how any of them can live here so comfortably. Ever since the coup he's never been able to truly relax anywhere, for several reasons. He was young, yes, but that sort of thing you never quite get over. His bright blue eyes narrow as he ponders the fate of this city, the Rocket Knights, a certain dark hedgehog, and the fate of the Case. He doesn't know exactly what happened to it and hasn't seen Quinton since to ask him about it. Not that he really thinks Quinton might tell him. He doesn't know what happened between the hare and the dragon after he ran out but he's sure some conclusion was drawn and something was done. It also annoyes him that he has no idea what went on while he was, temporarily, passed out on a bus stop bench. Even lost in thought, Gantz's ears are pricked for the sound of approaching footsteps and his eyes are gazing out the window, noting any movement that seems to be aimed for the building he's in. "Okay... 1... 2... 3... GO!" While the GUN Outpost of Station Square has become crowded by personnel by the height of these evening hours, Klonoa has been unable to relax while being in close quarters with some of the suited officers and other chattering Mobians. Also, nothing seems to have demanded his immediate attention, so... What is a young commander to do but practice a little with the Wind Ring! As the long-eared feline shouts out into the air to no one in particular, he kicks up his left leg and starts to spin... and spin... and spin. His hands are both clutched onto the Wind Ring while his ears flap in the breeze, and all the while Klonoa is just trying not to get too dizzy. "Kuu..." He blinks his eyes and then sets his right foot, previously held up, back onto the ground to ease him into a stop. Shaking his head, he stands on his two feet a little wobbly. "Hoo... It looks like I'm out of practice." Sensoo comes walking down the sidewalk, her eyes focused on a small control device, though it has about ten different wires stretching out of it at the moment and its insides are exposed. Occasionally, she pokes and prods at it with a small tool, a little display takes up the center of the insides, scrolling past random data. She walks right past the GUN outpost, for a good five steps before the back of her mind catches up with the front, causing her to come to a stop. "Hm," she says, and takes five steps backwards, only looking away from the display to note someone doing tricks in the distance. She peers in mute silence for awhile before she turns and walks through the entrance, her eyes going back to the display once more and tapping here and there. Little red veins show in her eyes from a lack of sleep, and she moves over to Gantz's table, her foot reaching over to hook a chair leg and drag it out, twisting it sideways in the process. She sits down on it regardless of its position, letting out a slow breath, not even glancing over towards Gantz. She just took the first table she ran into. "Mmm..." Gantz doesn't really know anything about Klonoa's doings, since his table and the window he's near are not angled correctly to see down the street. But he does notice a large, white, spotted leopard outside the window. (Why is it always CATS? Especially TALL cats! Something about that gets on his nerves. Though he isn't entirely certain why. Not that the two felines he's seen up close and personal haven't been lovely ladies...) His ears twitch back and forth as he ponders what to think about this new face, in particular when she chooses to settle down at his table (which is pretty close to the door.) He decides to have the first word. Hooking one arm over the back of his chair, Gantz leans back and sets his drink down on the table. "Are you lost?" Gantz muses, "Other than that look in your eyes, I'd say you don't look like the type of caffiene-junkie that would frequent a joint like this." Planting his two feet firmly on the ground, Klonoa gives his head one final shake and reaches toward the back of his head with his right hand to quickly adjust the "bill" of his hat so that he stops seeing half Station Square and half... well... hat. Then he lets both of his arms hang slack against his sides and takes a deep breath, before swinging the loop of the ring over toward his left hand so that he can get a good grip on it with both. "Okay... Let's try it again!" Klonoa doesn't seem to be all that worried about the unwanted attention that he might be getting on account of this little practice session. With the danger of Shadow looming, a hedgehog that he has only grown more knowledgeable of through the scattered rumors and information that he has encountered within GUN, he feels that a little work with his special attacks couldn't hurt. The only problem is, of course, that his old teacher never gave him any specific training advice. So... "Hyaaa!" Spin, little kitty, spin! Sensoo furrows her eyebrows as Gantz talks, but only because it's breaking her current concentration. She taps a few more circuits, frowning, until her mind catches that words were actually being spoken to -her-. She looks up sharply, staring at Gantz across the table from her. She then looks around the general cafe and back to Gantz. Oh, right, someone else was already here. Now, did he sit down at her table or did she...? And just what did he say to her? Maybe he said hello or something similar; she'll go with that. Though she'll stare stupidly at Gantz during all this, for a good ten or so seconds while she works it all out, before finally saying, "Hiya." She then looks over to the side and glances down at her display, twisting her pen like poker sideways so she doesn't accidentally connect some circuits she doesn't want connected. The simple response sounds so lame in her own ears, she decides to add, after looking back to Gantz, "I'm Sensoo." There, that's covered most of the bases of beginning conversation, right? Gantz just... blinks. No, he'll never understand anyone of the feline persuasion. Still, at least nothing ever gets dull around them. He arches a brow at Sensoo's distraction, now that he's noticed the odd little machine she seems to be tinkering with, and decides that he might as well introduce himself. "Hrmm. I'm Gantz," the black fox admits, "And that better not be a bomb." Gantz puts his free hand loosely over one of the guns holstered at his hip, which is hidden by the wood of the table. He has no intention of shooting Sensoo if he doesn't have to but he doesn't want to take any chances on the off chance that a threat just randomly wandered in to cause trouble. Goodness only knows Klonoa isn't here to do anything about it. Where is the silly long-eared cat anyway? He starts to wonder, now that the presence of Sensoo has brought Klonoa to mind. Klonoa kicks his left foot off the ground and then holds it up bent at the knee, spinning on the tip of his right foot while his arms are held out with hands firmly grasping the golden loop of the Wind Ring. The emerald-green gem flickers in the light of the overhead streetlamps, creating the illusion of a gathering magical power as he continues to spin around and around. Klonoa squints his eyes a little as he tries to remain focused and not get to busy by the spinning. "Just... a little more..." A minute passes, and soon the force of his spin starts to weaken and Klonoa puts the breaks on it as he plants his left foot onto the ground once more. The feline catches his breath as he looks down toward the ground, holding onto his hat with his right hand as he does so. He still feels a little woozy, but... Klonoa starts to slide downward and lands sharply on his behind with a "Oomph!" He blinks his eyes once or twice in surprise, and then simply starts laughing to himself, "I-I did it!" Sensoo looks relieved as Gantz says his name back to her. Okay, she was right then, she needs some coffee, she can't focus on more than two things at once, it's a bad sign. Sleep would probably be better for her, but she doesn't really enjoy sleep that much. She looks down as Gantz mentions the gizmo she has in her left hand. "I hope not," she says, poking at the circuits again, eyeing the display over, "If it is I've made a whole lot of mistakes and I need to re-think my profession." She pauses, looking up towards the ceiling in thought, "Though, I suppose if I over...hm...then that..." She looks back to Gantz and shakes her head, "...no, it can't explode, there's not enough power." She sets it down on the table and tucks the extending cables back to its insides and closes the cover over the top, snapping it into place. The display blanks out for a moment, then starts flashing more data, she idly taps a few keys, giving a large yawn. Did she order coffee already? She can't remember, hm... Gantz just watches the leopard and her little metallic device as she begins explaining it in her clearly sleepy state. The yawn takes him a little by surprise but clenches his grip on this notion. His ears prick together for a moment as he stares at those sharp teeth of hers and then he chuckles faintly, baring his own. He isn't intimidated. Nope. Not at all. "You need a drink. I recommend a large, with an extra shot of espresso, just based on the size of your mouth a minute ago," Gantz says with a smug grin. He eases his hand off the butt of his gun and sips some of his smoothie before adding, "And out of curiousity, what -is- your profession?" Klonoa sighs a little happily as he sits on the ground, and then pushes himself up slowly with his free hand while the other still holds onto the Wind Ring. Standing up, he brushes away any dust off his t-shirt and shorts with his fingertips before reaching his arms up high into the air in the stretch. "Aaah.. That felt great!" Letting his arms slide back down toward his sides, he turns his head back to look at the caf--Eh heh... GUN Outpost. He blinks his big yellow eyes once, and then cracks a befanged smile. "I wonder what's going on in there now?" Turning around, Klonoa tries to imagine the scene in his mind while scratching his head. "Hmmm... Everyone is probably still very busy with their duties, and then Gantz..." The feline promptly makes a scowling expression, with his hands placed firmly on his hips, and speaks with an attempt at a clearly unaccustomed baritone pitch, "Hmph. I don't waste my time with weaklings." He then breaks into a laugh, just a foot or two away from and still outside the door, going back to his usual, cute soprano, "...or something like that! Hee hee." Taking a few long strides toward the door and pushing it with his free hand, Klonoa energetically enters into the GUN Outpost. "I'm back o/~" Sensoo looks up from the display as Gantz speaks to her again, oh yeah... she should probably be paying attention to to him, but she's really almost done, what'd he say? She stares blankly at Gantz, blinking her red veined eyes, then shakes her head, putting together pieces of the words he said to her. "No, I don't serve coffee here. I actually came to get some," she answers, hoping that she was on track with that, "Though I'll get you some, if you want. I still need to order mine." o O ( I think. ) She gets up to her feet, turns to go to the counter to order, then stops and gets her gizmo off the table, flashing Gantz a fanged smile, she then heads to the counter and eyes the menu, wait, did Gantz tell her what he wanted? She forgot to ask. She turns around, about to call to him when Klonoa comes in. "Ah, congratulations!" she says cheerfully, wondering if maybe he's back from a mission? Back from the store? Back from the dead? o O ( I'm really not thinking very well... ) The first thing Gantz notices, inbetween staring at Sensoo as if she's drunk, is Klonoa walking down the sidewalk. He sees Klonoa coming before he enters, yes (though he didn't notice Klonoa mocking him, most likely thanks to Sensoo.) So he's not too startled when it is announced that Klonoa of the Wind has returned. However, when Sensoo greets him as if this was something outstanding, he doesn't know quite how to react. ...His opinion is reaffirmed. ALL CATS ARE INSANE. ...Well, maybe not Harley but he hasn't been around her long enough. And she mistook something he said once. She's mostly insane. Gantz rubs his muzzle as he wonders what sort of weird, unspoken language cats use. Maybe he should pay attention to their tails or something. Their ears? Those... don't they have whiskers? Should he take a course? Do they give courses for that? He should find out. He flags Klonoa down and points at the chair that Sensoo wasn't occupying earlier. "Klonoa! Sit," Gantz says sharply and shortly, without raising his voice too much. Ah, but he's forgetting that he IS talking to a cat. They don't exactly take orders. Not that he takes orders well either. Anyone who would suggest as much gets a punch to the head and a threatening growl. Klonoa waves to all who are looking (and even to those who are not) with his free hand while the other holds the Wing Ring close to his side as he walks into the outpost. He pauses as Sensoo walks by adding a cheerful and unexpected 'Congratulations' to him, causing him to sheepishly scratch the back of one of his ears with embarrassment. "Eh heh... Thanks!" Was she watching him practice? He wasn't paying all that much attention and so that probably has to be it. Otherwise, he can't remember doing anything deserving of such praise. Well, except for the close volleyball match that he had with Gantz a few days ago, that ended in a tie, but he didn't think anyone was paying attention to them then either. Huh... Turning his head over toward the other side of the room, he stares as Gantz looks back at him with an irritable expression on his face. As Gantz waves him over, he walks mutely along with a blank expression playing on his face. Paying no heed to the command given to him by his friend (though wincing a little at the tone), he plops down into one of the chairs around the table. Blink. "What's the matter, Gantz? You look kind of grumpy." Sensoo nods her head at Klonoa thanking her, whatever it was she was congratulating him for. Maybe it was just for arriving. She looks over at Gantz as he invites Klonoa over to their table, okay, one more coffee then. She turns around to look at the menu, scratching the back of her ear with her little pen. o O ( What did Gantz want? Wait, what do I want? ) She looks back to Gantz and Klonoa. "What would you two like?" she wonders to them both. She'll just copycat them. Or one of them at least. She looks down to the display as it *bleepbleeps* in her hands, tapping a few of the keys to shut it up. "That's not right," she says to herself softly. Gantz sighs at Klonoa's comment. Grumpy? Hmph! He's not grumpy... he's grown-up. Practical. MANLY. All those things and more. Though he does rest his free hand, the one not hooked over the back of the chair, on the tabletop and then turns to stare at the busty leopardess when she asks what he and Klonoa would like. ... Wait! Wait, is she offering to buy them drinks? Or... hell, even that's pretty outstanding. Eyes wide, Gantz lets go of the chair, reaches across the table, and grabs for the front of Klonoa's blue shirt (zipper and all) with both hands, just to make sure the cat isn't about to slip away. His ears flatten a little to the sides as he looks into Klonoa's eyes and lowers his voice. "How the hell are you doing that?!" he asks, "You cats have some kind of secret, wordless language, don't you? I mean, there's no other explaination that works. ...Unless you're all channeling random crazy people on your own, I mean." He doesn't actually answer Sensoo's question. HE MUST LEARN THEIR SECRETS FIRST. "H...Hunyaa?" Klonoa can only stare at Gantz in return as the poor kitty is yanked over by the shirt a little, all the while thinking that his friend has surely gone nuts this time. He brings up his gloved paws and carefully attempts to remove Gantz's fingers from his shirt. "Wuh... What the heck are you talking about?" he asks honestly, before craning his head back toward Sensoo and cupping one hand over his mouth. "Two decafs, please! Just let me know what I owe you, miss," he says as politely as he can, before returning to the Death God's stare. Then he... does something completely expected. He pulls up his right hand and starts to gently pat Gantz over the head with it. "There, there... The nice lady is getting us decaf, okay? Now, you can just let go of me and we can have some nice, hot coffee and relax. Okaaaaaaay?" Somehow, this will not end well for our hero. Sensoo taps a few more of the keys, the gizmo emitting a few more beeps, irritated at the user. Sensoo frowns and opens it up, prodding a couple circuits as Klonoa speaks to her, her ear twitches, noting the sound but not really processing the information. After a few more pokes and prods, she closes it back up and hits another button, staring at it and waiting for it to beep again, but it doesn't. "Thank you," she says to it, then looks over towards Gantz and Klonoa, oh blast, one of them told her what they wanted. She tries to rewind her memory but it's just not happening, she gives an internal sigh and then notices Gantz grabbing ahold of Klonoa like that. She knows that's not completly normal, it seemed like they knew each other, though maybe it's playful threatening postures? Guys do that sometimes. "Ah, decaf," she says, as Klonoa says it (even if it is to Gantz.) She turns around to the counter once more, "Three de..." She stops and frowns; she needs caffeine. Great... she looks up to the menu once more, staring. Gantz is just annoyed at first, when Klonoa refuses to admit that cats must have some sort of super secret feline language. He also looks at Sensoo briefly when Klonoa tells her to get decafs. Eh, he doesn't care. That's fine by him. Then he blinks as he realizes that... Klonoa is petting him and talking to him like he's some anxious little... CHILD. Gantz's eyes narrow as he gives Klonoa a cold stare in return for this action. One eye twitches and his ears prick upwards so much that they begin to meet at the center. The ridge of his nose wrinkles up and his fangs are bared fully as he growls low in his throat. Then, rather quickly, as if letting go of something distasteful, he pushes Klonoa away and begins running a hand over his hair, to see if any of it has come loose. Yes, he's primping. Just a little. Also, quite in a huff, he shrugs and unshrugs his shoulders slowly, shaking out the collar of fur that hangs down over them, starting at the neck and growing outward. He seems to hunch his shoulders fully, burying his fluffy cheek into his ruffled shoulder fur, and glares out the window once more. "Don't ever do that again," Gantz warns, expecting Sensoo to return sometime soon. After all she's been over there awhile now. And if he's going to start ignoring Klonoa, he might as well pay attention to her instead. He adds, with an almost deceptively soft tone as he begins thinking of other things, "I swear, I'll rip both your ears off and shove them down your throat if you do. Then I'll hang you out on the door for target practice." *CLUNK-roll-roll-roll...* Somewhere, an oversized ring plunks onto the floor of the outpost while a scared stiff Klonoa stares back at Gantz. . . . "... I was right. You DID need decaf." Sensoo meanwhile completly misses the conclusion of the Gantz vs. Klonoa duel. She's busy staring at the menu, yes... there's lots of coffee up there, many different drinks. Her left ear twitches in resignation and she looks to the impatient clerk at the counter. "Two decaf's and something with lots of caffeine in it, please," she says with a smile. "How about a triple shot mocha?" the barista suggests, glad that a decision has finally been made. "Completely," she says with a nod. It's about this time that the doors to the cafe open up and a foot tall... object... comes rolling in. It's cylindrical in shape and has a single wheel at its base, which it's currently using to roll along. Once it's through the doorway however, four limbs break off from the main body, each one ending in a three fingered hand, which settle themselves down on the floor, lifting the thing up from the ground. The wheel retracts into a chamber, a panel sliding it closed, leaving only a seam to let you know it was there in the first place. It doesn't actually have a head, but there is a square flat plate of metal atop of it. It's also very, very loud and smoke continually belches out of its sides every few moments. No, Gantz didn't see THAT one coming, having been so wrapped up in his 'woe-is-me' sulking that when he looked out the window, he wasn't really seeing anything. But once it's IN the door and belching smoke, he notices that something is amiss. There was also that other odd noise from earlier, that didn't sound good. Another metalic sound. His first reaction to the sight of some weird, mechanized thing is to leap out of his chair and kick the table over. In a matter of seconds, he's rolled behind it and pulled out one of his red laser pistols. Gantz quickly tries to drag Klonoa behind the make-shift cover with him but doesn't try too hard to keep him down. Oh yes, he needs decaf. That's why he had a fruit smoothie in the first place. "Your ring!" is all he yelps, to Klonoa, once he sees that it's missing. Slumped down into his chair with a hand held reassuringly over his throbbing heart, Klonoa breathes out with a soft, "Whew..." Then he plants his two hands on the base of the chair so that he can scoot his back up the chair again so that he can settle in more comfortably. Sheesh. He knew that Gantz wouldn't like being treated like a little puppy, but for a moment there, the feline was almost certain that Gantz had lost his mind. Even now, he kind of finds that to be so, but even a threat like that puts Gantz somewhat back in reality. He brushes his hands over his t-shirt once again, smoothing out any of the wrinkles. Man, today has to be some kind of sign that he needs to get his laundry do-- At the sound of the putting... something, Klonoa turns around and blinks at the strange little machine that literally rolled through the front door. Quirking a brow, he simply blinks at it and then pulls his hands up defensively as the four limbs break off from the main body. As it begins to belch out smoke he moves to get up to get a closer loo--"URK!" Suddenly, he is yanked from behind by Guntz by the shirt collar and lands hard on the floor from the surprise... and upside down. "Mynaa... Where are we...?" "Ah?" Klonoa comes to as Gantz mentions the ring, causing him to search frantically for it, "Ring, ring... Ah!" The feline reaches around the chair he was sitting in, only a moment ago, and grabs the loop of the Wind Ring before glancing sideways at his friend. "Okay, Gantz! ... What are we hiding from again?" Sensoo doesn't turn around, even at the sound the machine is making, but the coffee makers have all ducked behind the counter. Oh great, what's wrong with them? She gives an internal sigh and leans over the counter, but not too far. No, she can't see them; they're ducked down good. Well, she'll turn around and see what they were hiding from. A part of her brain is screaming at her and letting her know that if other people are ducking and covering, she should as well, but it doesn't quite make it in time to stop her from turning around. She looks over to Gantz and Klonoa and the overturned table, then over to the robot that's entered the cafe as it comes walking over to her in an unbalanced gangly sort of way, the limbs are obviously uneven from the way it moves. She holds up her remote and taps a key, the machine stopping, then sets it down on top of the metal plate. "Heya," she says to it, then looks around the cafe again, what are...oh, oh RIGHT. She swears softly under her breath, realizing why everyone's freaking out. o O ( Duh duh duh, oh gosh I need to wake up. ) Maybe she can play it off... she reaches over and re-takes the gizmo and taps a few keys, the limbs on the cylinder folding themselves back up after it lowers its bottom to the floor. It sits there, belching out a final piece of black smoke before Sensoo -subtly- moves over and nudges it over with her foot, she then lets it roll under a nearby table. Yeah, uh, see? Everything's cool... Gantz's face is an exceptional study of conflicting emotions. His eyes are wide, one twitching again slightly, and his mouth is agape. His ears are askew, angling off in atypical directions and flicking nervously back and forth at the same time. His breathing is a bit loud and jerky, his hands and really his entire body fidgety as he comes to terms with what just happened. Some of the other customers and the baristas may be fooled but Gantz is not. He quickly gathers that this THING is being controlled by Sensoo. And while it isn't deadly, or at least doesn't seem to be, SHE STILL NEARLY GAVE HIM A HEART ATTACK! But for no reason! With the adrenaline still pumping hard through Gantz's veins, he stands up as if nothing unusual just happened. With unsteady fingers, he tugs on the open front of his jacket, pulling it forward in both hands and shaking the sides out a bit as he tilts his head back, nose to the ceiling, while trying to calm himself down. His ponytail swishes around as he steps around the fallen table and makes his way over to Sensoo with an easy stride, his features composed and stern. He stands up to his full height and reaches a hand out to tap her shoulder until she turns to face him. When she does, he remains where he is, posturing with one hip out and one hand resting on it, while the other holds up an index finger. He's pointing it upward but still indirectly aiming it at Sensoo. "WHAT the hell was that?" he huffs, "... Were you trying to impress me?" Klonoa gets quite a show just by looking at Gantz's face, having pulled himself into a sitting position, looking calm and a little confused, and with his Wind Ring in hand. He has been easing to one side to look past the table toward the robot, but by the time he had a good look around the area... Sensoo had already 'vanquished' the robot and everything was slowly beginning to drift back into normalcy. Klonoa skitters back a little as Gantz rises suddenly, causing him to bump his head painfully into one of the nearby chairs. "Ouch!" He grumbles and rubs the tender spot in the back of his head, slowly pulling himself back up all while his friend has already made his way halfway across the bar toward Sensoo. Still holding onto the Wing Ring along his side, he watches as the vulpine confronts the taller feline and simply shakes his head. "Wait, Gantz. You probably won't believe this, but... I don't think that thing could hurt anyone. Besides..." he straightens up a bit, looking determined, "What makes you so sure that this lady was the one controlling it anyway? That thing could have come from anywhere!" Sensoo looks to her shoulder as Gantz pokes it, her hand with the gizmo in it goes behind her back, and the other one reaches over to start playing with her floor length braid, wiggling it around in her fingers slowly. "Impress... No, I just met you," she says, looking more than a little confused, "I'm sorry." She then looks over to Klonoa as he speaks, well, if only that were true. She drops her braid and puts her other hand behind her back, smiling down at Gantz. "He doesn't have a name yet, but I use him to hold my coffee," she admits after a few moments of staring silence, feeling she needs to explain herself, because, really, causing panics isn't something she likes too do. Well, if she were more awake she might have thought it was funny. She yawns, rubbing at her eyes with her free hand. "I've been working on making it do remote commands, but it wasn't responding right so I told it to come to me so I could fix it. I forgot where I was at the time," she explains, in a calm slow voice, but it's only because she's tired really. She glances behind her. "Oh, coffee..." she says, glad to see the people have got back up from behind the counter and are starting, albeit cautiously, to go back to their work. She looks back to Gantz, trying to figure out what to do next... maybe... she pulls the control from behind her back, offering it to Gantz. "Here, you can use it!" Yeah, everyone likes to play with robot coffee holders, right? Gantz just glares at Klonoa while Klonoa is trying to defend Sensoo and vouch for her innocence in this debacle. Well, it's true that the robot could have come from anywhere but... Gantz is slowly pleased to learn that his hunch was right. Hah! So the robot really was hers. He blinks as she tells him what the robot is for and then... offers to let him give it a try. He awkwardly takes the control because he doesn't know quite what to say and begins looking the device over, while still giving Sensoo a suspicious glance. "Hrmm... and I guess your job is to repair machines?" Gantz conjectures. He glances over the remote once more, feeling the buttons under his gloved fingers but not yet daring to actually push any of them. Even though the very offering of the remote should reassure him that no damage would occur, should he make a mistake, he decides not to push his luck this evening. With a sigh, he hands the remote back to Sensoo and shakes his head. "Here, see if Klonoa wants to play with it," he says as he does so. The black fox then walks back over to the table and begins setting it and the chairs around it back into their original, upright positions. He picks up his jostled fruit smoothie and then grumbles to himself as he realizes he spilled it on the floor. He wanders over to grab some paper napkins to clean up as much of the sticky mess as he can, then sucks down the last of the smoothie in the cup, and carries both over to the trashcan so he can toss them in. Klonoa watches the exchange between Gantz and Sensoo with mild interest, turning his head from side to side to watch GUN operatives slowly clambering back to their tables or readjusting their weaponry. He sighs, sulking a little at the sight... "What a mess." He wonders if he should try to be on his guard more often, given the example that the outpost made. Then again, he wouldn't want to end up too high strung... A glance is given to Gantz... like some people that he knows. As Gantz steps away to look after the mess he made, Klonoa is left standing a short ways from Sensoo and the remote control that got reluctantly tossed back to her. Reaching a hand up to scratch at the back of one of his floppy ears, he sheds a small grin. "Sorry about that, miss. Gantz is not exactly the most friendly person, but he means well." He takes a few steps forward and then crouches down toward the robot, which he doesn't have to go very far to do it seems. "Except for the smoke, I thought it actually looked kind of cool. I wish I knew how to make something like this!" he says with a bit of a hop back up to his feet, "Oh, yeah. I never had the chance to introduce myself. My name is Klo~oa. Nice to meet you!" Sensoo takes the control back from Gantz, looking down at it. "I do that sometimes," she replies to Gantz's question, "But rebuilding is usually better than repairing. I'm better at roboticizing." Yeah, that sounds bad and wrong, but she's a little too tired to phrase things right at the moment. She hasn't labeled any of the buttons on the remote yet, maybe she should of told Gantz what they were first. She yawns again, staring at the control and then looking over to Klonoa as he comes over and introduces himself. "Hiya, I'm Se--wah? Oh?" she says, right as Klonoa's name clicks in her mind. "Nice to meet you too!" she adds and holds the control out towards him for him to take. She knows she should say something else, but nothing comes to mind, so she'll stare mutely for a moment before turning around and taking the tray with coffee on it from the clerk. "Oh-coffee-yum-yay," she says with a big smile. Gantz rubs his hands against each other, as if wiping off invisible dust, when he comes back from the trash can. He notices the tray of coffee and looks for one of the ones with a D scribbled onto the side. He grabs one off the tray without even asking, though he does give Sensoo a faint smile of his own, and wanders over to the table, where he curls up in his chair again. He takes a sip and then erks as he realizes it is hot, 'normal' coffee that needs cream and sugar and stuffs. He jerks the cup away from his lips and hustles over to do just that. As he mixes these things in, and does another taste test, he keeps an ear swiveled into Klonoa and Sensoo's conversation. Eventually, he comes back to his chair and shuffles and scoots a bit until one would almost think he was turning around the darned thing three times before settling down. "Ahhh," he murmurs into his cup and closes his eyes with contentment, "Thank you, Sensoo." Oh dear... the world is collapsing. Gantz thanked someone! And he remembered her name. That could either be counted as very good or very bad. Either way, he's certainly going to recognize her the next time he meets her. Klonoa hums softly at the mention of roboticizing, causing one of his ears to perk up like that of a curious puppy. True, that is a little strange to hear... Granted, Sensoo doesn't look like she would be the type to admit outright if she were working for the Empire. But he nods his head with a smile out of politeness before looking over toward the coffee tray. Reaching a hand out to grab the remaining decaf, he pulls it towards him, but not before easing the Wind Ring over his free hand and allowing it to slide over his arm and all the way down to his elbow. Cupping the coffee between his hands, he blows on it a little to cool it down. "Hee hee. I don't usually buy coffee, but the owner of this cafe makes it taste real good. How can I turn something like that down?" Klonoa stands upright as Gantz thanks Sensoo, causing the feline to bend his head down again to convey his own thanks, "Yes, thank you." But he bends a little two far and some of the hot coffee dribbles just a little over the rim of the cup. Good thing he's wearing gloves. "Gosh... I need to pay better attention," he mumbles to himself before letting out a gentle laugh, "Sensoo, huh? I'll have to remember that." Sensoo nods her head at the both of them as they give her thanks, she smiles. "You're both welcome!" she says cheerfully, she takes her triple shot mocha, cupping it in her hands, ah, finally. She takes a sip from it, great, it's hot. She moves over to dump cream in it to cool it down, more than would really make it taste good, then proceeds to drink half of the mocha down, she then lowers the cup, letting it dangle from her fingers. She looks between Gantz and Klonoa, not able to think of anything to say, she moves over and hunches down next to the coffee table bot looking it over, why'd she bring it here again? She looks to the remote which she never actually handed over to Klonoa, oops. Well, she'll just put it down for now next to the robot and turn back around. Taking another drink of the mocha, looking to Klonoa, she glances around, as if trying to find words to say. Wait, Klonoa mentioned the good coffee, right? She takes another drink. "It is good," she says, nodding her head. o O ( Very good. ) She thinks to herself and moves over to re-take her seat at Gantz's table. Gantz continues sipping his coffee and seems to have indeed calmed considerably, even with or because of it being decaf. And as he enjoys the slightly bitter taste, he didn't add a lot of sugar. He contemplates the two feline companions that are around his table. Didn't he have something running through his mind before all this chaos occured? Was he not planning amazing things? Oh, right. REVENGE! Gantz clears his throat a little and sets his cup of coffee down on the table, steepling his fingers as his hands rest there as well. He gazes at the duo across from him; his eyes narrowed but his eyebrows relaxed and his mouth set in a neutral line. "I have a bit of a puzzle for you; either of you. What do you do to make a dragon nervous?" At first, Klonoa gives this riddle a little thought, placing a free hand beneath his chin and tilting his head skyway. "What do you do to make a dragon nervous?" he repeats to himself with a high dip up in his tone as he asks himself. He doesn't know many dragons except... except... *Bing!* His ears tense and straighten out, as he cautiously cranes his head to look toward Gantz. "Uh... Gantz, you don't mean--" Sensoo stares at Gantz intently, downing the rest of her mocha, she needs another one. She glances over to the counter, then back to Gantz, she holds up a finger in the 'wait a moment' gesture and gets up, ordering another one. While they make it, she walks back over, folding her arms across her stomach. She stares at Gantz, working her sleep deprived brain as hard as she can to come up with an answer, points aren't connecting as well as they should. "..." she opens her mouth to give an answer, but nothing comes forth. She sits back down, scratching behind her ear idly, "Tell us?" Normally, she'd try harder to work it out, but she's rather sure it's not going to happen right now. Gantz hrmmms at their answers. He closes one eye, waggles his fingers a little as he goes from steepling them to clasping them together, and droops his ears a little. Damn. He was hoping maybe they could not be cats for once and give him an idea. Gantz decides to rub his temple a little and considers what to say, now that he's brought the subject up. Especially since Klonoa is now worried. "I was trying to figure that one out myself. So far... I'm not sure. They're sturdy and usually pretty level-headed. Empty threats would be pointless and stealing from one isn't advisable, nor would it be easy. It's definitely a tough one," Gantz admits as he finally moves his arms to cross in front of his chest. He notably doesn't answer Klonoa's question of whether he's being specific or not. Klonoa sweatdrops at Gantz, taking a sip from the decaf and then puckering his lips at the realization that he probably should have grabbed a sugar packet or two before testing it. Oh well. At least it has had the chance to cool down. Setting it on the table, along with a few mobiums, he eyes Gantz warily with arms crossed over his chest. He doesn't know many dragons and so he has every reason to suspect. "..." He opens his mouth to say something but holds back, not wanting to be clobbered or -threatened- by said clobbering. . o O ( I just hope that you are not planning on doing anything stupid, Gantz. ) Sensoo looks over as her new mocha is ready. She then looks back to Gantz and Klonoa. The caffeine's finally starting to kick in, even if she still looks tired. "Not specifically for making dragons nervous, but..." she says as she stands up, "... You start moving things around where they live without them knowing it. Moving the phone at a different angle, turning a picture askew, placing a CD they've never owned in their CD player, changing their sheets to a different color; as long as you can do it when they're not home and they don't know you're doing it, anyone would start getting creeped out and wondering what was going on and who was trying to mess with them, or, if they're going insane." She smiles at Gantz and walks over to get her mocha, ahh, liquid life, and takes it in one hand. Moving over to pick up her remote, she hits a few buttons on it. Two of the cylinders limbs pop out and push itself up, the other two following suit to get it balanced as it wobbles out from under the table. Sensoo almost sets her mocha on it, then realizes with the limbs mis-leveled it'll fall over. Well, when it's motionless it works, she moves over to the table, the little robot coughing out black smoke as it follows her. "It was great meeting you both, sorry for scaring you with the coffee table," she says, smiling once more, "You both seem nice though, so I hope I run into you again." With that she gives a wave with the remote held hand and walks out. The coffee table robot lags behind until it pulls out its single wheel from underneath it and zooms after her. Gantz looks... pleased. His only comment to Klonoa, when Sensoo is already gone, said in sort of a daydreaming way is, "Breasts and brains to match."
