Qubec sect plans to deliver human clone
Roxton Falls, Qu. The Raelian Church of Canada is defending its plan to produce the first human clone. The church, an officially recognized religion in Qubec, was founded by a former French racing-car driver.
A spokeswoman for Clonaid, a company established by the Raelians, protested, We ave de technology so pourquoi we shouldnt be husing it? Tabernacle! (We know how to do this so why shouldnt we? Tabernacle!)
Interestingly enough, the Raelians have a dashboard instead of an alter.
The Swiss-based hedonistic movement follows the concept that humans are the result of an alien experiment.
Dat is pourquoi we ave no problem wit dis cloning. Hit is just da next steps in da process. (Cloning is the logical extension of a lab project for which we have no responsibility.)
All Raelian services are held on the infields of racetracks. The minister is referred to as the starter and the sacramental wine called 10W30 is served from squeeze bottles.
Surprisingly, the Raelians have planned the birth to occur sometime in December.
Well, you know da most well-known bebe dat was hever birthed was born in Decembre. Since, we ave the hability den pourquoi pas!! (Someone from another well-known religion was born this month and if we hope to compete in the open-religious-market, our enfant better be born this month, aussi!!)
A film of the entire procedure will be made public in the New Year and will be shown in a drive-in theatre near you. |
