| Located about 1/2 a mile outside Newcastle, Murlough strand is a huge beach which al forms of kitiing acan be found happening on from bugging to kite surfing. The tide comes right into the shingle and then retreats for about 200 yards. Best time to hit Murlough is about an hour after high tide to make the most of the place. The water can be a bit choppy but some flat areas can be formed because of sand bars. |
