First Canoe in the Mist of Summer 2008!  The day warmed quickly and with gentle winds we were graced by the songs of chestnut sided warblers and song sparrows in the first ffew minutes of the hike.  Redwinged blackbirds and kingfisher sightings were also frequent.  A highlight was a spectacular fly-over of an osprey as it serveyed the lake for fish!  Thanks to all who participated today!  Check out the rest of the postings to learn more about Arrowhead Lake and previous Canoe in the Mist experiences!
