Summer has finally arrived!  Our first warm and sunny canoe hike of  2007.  A deer was spotted on the far side of the lake eating pickerel weed but soon moved out of site as our party neared.   Other highlights included a yellow spotted salamander egg mass and whirly-gig beatles!
