Terror

News of conflict, near and far,
Affects us all, wherever we are.
In faces close, we seek to find
Comfort, through this troubled time.

Eyes, full of fear, around us see
This terror, born across the sea.
The image which confirms our fears,
Will soon be followed by mournful tears.

Vague searching for whats yet to be,
Through lifted eyes, from bended knee.
With tearstained faces, unbelieving minds,
We commit those who we cannot find.

Left deep in thought, with troubled brow,
We seek to make sense of this, somehow.
The shock soon turns, from deep within,
To desire, for this fight to win!

Our chins held high, as oft before,
We dry the eyes, prepare for war
To rid the world, for all to see,
Of this ruthless, cunning enemy.
