This patient flower still did wait
    For one to come, appreciate
The treasures that were locked within,
To senses please, for heart to win.

At once, enchanted, captured by
This sweet flower which caught his eye,
          Gave him purpose, born anew,
               Became within, a flower too!

White lacy pedals, fragrance sweet,
Did win the heart, the chance to meet
One who did stop to admire
The radiance of this single flower.

A flower, near a garden path,
Caught the eye of all who passed.
But, willing not to break their stride,
They hurried off, not even tried.
