As One Flame

While I gaze upon your face,
I wish no other place to be.
Other thoughts, at once, erase,
For you are all I care to see.

Deep within your eyes, I find
All playfulness and mystery.
Deeper still, you tease my mind
With more than I should know or see.

Soft shadows fall upon your skin,
From your silken hair which flows
Upon your neck, as I fall within
Your spell, my yearning heart's exposed.

And with every breath, the fragrance
Of you washing through my memories
Sets me floating, as if in a trance,
I loose site of all surrounding me.

So captive now, to your will,
Forever lost, with no return,
This moment, frozen in time until
Your smile sets my heart to burn.

Your lips speak words no other hears.
They fall upon my one desire
To draw you closer, nearer,
And be as one flame in this fire.
