The Kiss
I saw it coming
as I knew that it would
Looking into your eyes
For a warning that should
Have told me my fate
The kiss you yearned for
Could no longer wait
But your head slightly canted
As it stretched out to mine
Slowly closing the eyes
Without a warning to find
I saw it was coming
But did not understand
How the kiss that you wanted
Could so weaken a man
I too closed my eyes
With your lips now so near
Awaiting your kiss
I had nothing to fear
A simple kiss
Our first was now here
Would be short and sweet
Be gentle and dear
But to my surprise
There was nothing at all
As I waited your lips
Upon mine to fall
And only a second
In time may did pass
An eternity in time
Was what sure seemed to last
Then finally connection
But to light to be lips
Was your heavy sweet breath
On my face that did skip
The stench was so pleasing
Seemed to tickle my nose
Sending a shock wave
that did curl my toes
As you licked my skin
With moist panting breath
Your kiss was building
Still deep within
Gathering strength
Summoning your soul
To release a great power
Only your lips could know
My lips were shut
As yours finally met
Surrounding them whole
Like a trap being set
So gentle the pressure
From a hunger so great
I wonder why now
Such a kiss had to wait
Then came a sensation
As your tongue took a chance
To probe through pursed lips
For what did lay past
Warm, wet, and wild
It did slowly wind
Ever so softly
Till my tongue it did find
So playful the twirls
As they roll side by side
My heart took a pounding
When it stopped for a smile
My emotions now melted
Like some love puddled goo
Raged war on my veins
As my tongue tangled you
Fighting and searching
Exploring in depth
Wrestling our feelings
With emotions and flesh
Then with a heave
I drew in a breath
My nose seemed to burn
From your pungent caress
As your scent charged to enter
Deep into my chest
Searching inside
My breath of unrest
To etch on my heart
How a true love does start
To caress and to squeeze
Both my inside and out
This kiss could not end
Our bodies not part
For never before
Was a kiss that I knew
Could adhere to the soul
With such passionate view
But then came the giggle
That bubbled from you
Which tore through my daze
For I had no clue
The kiss which had ended
In my mind still went on
How could something so cherished
Just end and be gone
She said IamShePoet
Nothing more need be said
And the next time we kiss
AGAIN
you shall know it!!
