Chapter four.....

During the time in which Brian had been denied visitation, the children had regressed in behavior. At 3 & 5, both had begun wetting their pants again. This was not a nighttime occurrence, but both day and night. They had started to destroy belongings in our home, and when questioned about these things, they would reply, “Mommy said we can do that, because you have to pay for it, not Mommy” They would poke holes in my walls, all the while saying that “Mommy said that Daddy will have to pay for it”

The children would say mean things to the rest of the children, such as “my Mommy can say anything about your mommy that she wants, cause she’s MRS. BRIAN, and your mommy’s NOT, your mommy’s not allowed to talk about my MOMMY” They would also refuse to eat any food that was made in our home.  These PAS’d children would say, that “Mommy said that you make YUCK food, and we don’t have to eat it” and tell us that they ate in restaurants every night, so we should take them out to eat also. 

Another major problem, was the lying….these children had been told so many lies by the Moo Cow, and her family (she was now living with her parents, and sister, in the same home with the children) that they really could not tell the difference between the truth and lies.  The lying, or story telling was a constant. They would do something, right in front of us, and then lie about it, or tell us they didn’t do it. Now, if I tried to talk to them, they had been programmed to ignore me, or not to respond, and they barely responded to their father either. It just seemed to be an uphill battle! And it was getting worse with each passing visitation!

In our March 2001 hearing, Moo Cow attempted to have thrown in, a clause, which states, that when she comes to pick up the children from MY home, if I am within sight or hearing of her, than I am in contempt of court.  Basically, violating my civil liberties! I have not been charged with, or convicted of a crime, that would warrant this action! So, in answer to this, I would sit out on my front step so that she had no choice but to see me. I however, did not EVER, NOT ONCE, speak while she was there. (However, she has accused me of doing such, each and every time) Now, from the beginning, Moo Cow had brought an entourage to these transitions, and sometimes these people would get out of the vehicle, and come up on our property, making an attempt to intimidate us, so ….we had them served with no trespassing papers.

In June of 2001, my husband lost his job.  Much of this was the result of the actions of Moo Cow, and her refusal to cooperate with our attorney, and us, so that my DH had missed quite a bit of time from work, which was much of the reason he was let go.  The very day he was let go, we informed our attorney, and a motion was filed for a change in circumstance, so that the Child support amount, would be reduced.  This apparently infuriated Moo Cow, because she countered first, that it was a voluntary UNEMPLOYMENT, that he did this on purpose, so he wouldn’t have to pay support. Then….she countered with the unthinkable!
