  “My Fire”

We lay side by side and I catch you smiling at me
You’re warm heat blazes golden

You’re soft like silken linen folded

Over purple curtains hiding and holding

You inside its soft velvet drape...

Seeing the simple outlines of your face

Wide  hips are traced in spidery webbed woven lace

Like water falling over your shoulders your hair in perfect place

As your scent rises  amidst mist ....and mystery

No cinematographers lenses can  capture this scenery

365 degrees of heated bliss lifts steamily

While outside colds villainous hiss snarls wintry

Inside your woven intricate hands stroke wonderfully

Holding me supernaturally

Inhaling your cinnamon and sulfuric essence

Exhaling your intimate presence

My head swings  hallucinating

As you  drip like gasoline

Ignition fuel and spark will only bring

Me closer to your spontaneous combustion

Fire must have caught   you and held your hand

Trembling and teaching you to burn and  etch

Warmth dancing with flamed fingertips

Lingering collapsing into licking lips

Angel-winged chariots of desire lift

Carrying springs new  bloom flowered gift

Hungry to hold earths heated physicality

Pink with red  petals openly

Blue hued like fleshly unfolding

Easing itself into summers warm watery depths

Absorbing  your  rays of light,

Capturing milliseconds of ultra-violet

Reflections unseen felt or heard in simple vibrations

As I wander  your landscape

I realize  I stand at the center of your sweet summer storm

And shrouded in  your cloudy tear filled eyes

Dripping wet like yesterday as it mourns
