| The Singing Bone Press, is an imprint of the Ibbetson Street Press, founded in 2000 by former Spare Change News Poetry Editor Don DiVecchio. Singing Bone was created to publish books outside the"style" or "format" of standard Ibbetson books. The first book published was a poetry anthology "City of Poets 18 Boston Voices" edited by Don DiVecchio, Doug Holder and Richard Wilhelm. Lawrence Ferlinghetti wrote of this book: " Bravo to the Boston Poets for hearing the muse loud and clear." Howard Zinn wrote:" City of Poets is an extraordinary collection of poems, socially conscious, eloquent, and from the grass roots..." Our next release will be "Hot Rain" a collection of poetry by Cambridge, Mass. based singer/ songwriter Lo Galluccio. Look for this in late Summer of 2004. |
