So, the first war ended with Hatty significantly reduced.  And Rome not hurt at all, except by some necessary spending on the cultural slider.  I probably could have run for space, but I'd already decided I was going to dominate the game, or die trying.  The under 100 turn warnings had started, but...  Well, the whole game is only 400-some, so that 100-turn warning comes with a fourth of the game left.  That's a LONG time.

Carriers and jet fighters helped the air battles.  Modern armors and stealth bombers were to win the war.  But, after I declared on Hatty (again), Monte declared on me, too.  I signed up Louis for a few techs to help against Hatty (it just got Louis pillaged and Hatty promoted, but it did distract her a bit).  I smote Monte and moved on to Hatty.  My foothold only allowed attacking one city.  Byblos.  The AI knew it and stacked the city.
Yes, that's more than a screen's worth of units.  Some of them are non-combat units, though.  I sent in my first sacrificial stack to try to draw them out.  It worked.  While most of my stack died, I was able to kill off essentially all of Hatty's artillery and thin the defenses of Byblos a tiny bit.  My larger, real stack then followed.  The Byblos siege took a bit, but 50 hp units (thanks, Stealth Bombers) die pretty fast.  I think I ended up using a marine to capture Byblos, because my MA were all used up.  But it did fall.

And once it fell, Hatty was toast.  She had a bunch more cities.  And big cultural borders to push through.  But it was just a matter of time.  Modern armor push.  Stealth bombers rock.  I lost maybe two units after the initial stack devastation.  Just a matter of time.  And the clock was ticking....
But it wasn't ticking nearly fast enough.  Even before 2000, I had captured all of Hatty's cities (returning one to Louis XIV that she'd taken).  Then, it was just a matter of waiting for cultural expansions.  France was completely pillaged from their earlier war.  It may have been faster to just get the conquest.  But I wanted domination.

And domination I got.  In 2004 AD.  For 11819 points.

Even though Hatty built the UN, I had backdoor domination a LONG time earlier.  I was just going through the motions to get the true domination.  The land criteria is the killer there, IMO.
