In a fit of rage, he declared that he would never be overlooked again. He promptly ran away from his home and found himself delving into the unfamiliar world of the Rogues. To his suprise, he was naturally skilled in the Rogue arts, and quickly gained the popularity and respect that he had always craved. When he entered Stonefall he had already amassed a good deal of wealth and fame, but that would all pale to the one thing he could not steal; true love.
Rindell bonded with a young woman named Shyla and for the first time in his life he no longer needed to gain. At Shyla's urging, Rindell and his allied forces forced out the old Guildhead, seating Rindell as the Guild's new leader. But this aquisition would cost him greatly, for Shyla would be exiled from Stonefall in a flurry of activity without Rindell's knowledge.
In Shyla's absence, Rindell gave into his greed and ambition, forsaking any remaining chance at a normal life.
