A co-worker was nice enough to forward on some more pictures from my Singapore trip.

There's nothing like Fish Head Curry, served on a banana leaf with a cold Tiger Beer.
Pretending like I know what I am doing at the software conference.  To the left is Adam and the right Craig, both Australians now based out of Singapore and London respectively.

The lime green shirts were required.
I did manage to spend a day in Little India visiting Buddhist and Hindu Temples

In the center of the Temple of 1000 lights,  built in 1927, sits a 300 ton Sakaya Muni Buddha.  I don't know where the fog in the picture came from.
Across the street from the Temple of 1000 lights is the far more beautiful Leong San See Temple, a Buddhist and Taoist place of worship.

I must have watched the lady kneeling on the right chant for close to an hour.
The Sri Veeramakaliamman Hindu Temple was by far the most ornately decorated Temple I visited.

For Hindus, the square is the most perfect shape so temples are always based on a square ground plan.
So the trip wasn't all work - we did manage to have a few beers at the local ex-pat bar "Ice Cold Beers."

I was the only one lacking the foresight to bring a shirt to change into.
Let me tell you, it hurt putting on the lime green shirt the morning after this.

Mom - I only enjoy the Cuban cigars because they are contraband in the USA.
