Acacia Flats, located in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, was the name of the campground. The campsites name however has nothing to do with the hike in, which started with switch-backs down a cliff face and numerous ups then downs once we reached the canyon floor.

This hike often reminded me of the Bright Angel Trail in The Grand Canyon. Except that I was in a lush Australia rain forrest, there where eels in the river, and my hiking companions all had funny accents. Come to think of it this hike really didn't have much in common with the Grand Canyon...oh well.
No dinner taste better than pasta, tuna fish and fresh tomatoes served in the bush.
