Silent Fear

The darkness surrounds me.
I can't see any light.
Yet deep down inside me,
I know I must fight.

All around me,
I feel them, hear them,
Still,
I cannot see them.

It's like being blind,
But not from the start.
First you see your enemy,
Then it is dark.

Won't someone come
And rescue me?
Don't they hear it?
Don't they see it?

I feel it.
Everywhere.
The pure evil.
It's in the air...

Why does no one answer?
Why don't they hear?
And why don't they listen
To my silent fear?
