What do you do, When they take it all away?

What do u say, When there's no on else to blame?

How do you feel, When no on ecares enough to listen? Or when no one wants to?

Are they afraid? Afraid of what?, you think. Scared of what you might be?

Are they scared, Even with all the treats, That they're just like you?

What could be so powerful That would make them Want to run and hide?

--Maybe they just don't want you to be a thorn in their side.

You try to think of what else to do, To try and make then accept you. But you've done it all.

Not even being yourself works anymore. Your insides feel like a closed door.

'Cause like then you've always wanted to be. But they left you alone.

Standing, and waiting for a miracle to see.

That one day, You wouldn't have to try. They'd be the ones who sought after you. You wouldn't be the one saying goodbye.

Left to yourself, Struggling to survive. Wondering if you should still be alive.

Those you knew best Turn out to be complete strangers. Those you love have turned to hate.

What do you do when no one cares? And hope's too strong a word?

I know what I'd do. But why bother, If no one cares?
