Cobardes Quest (part 1)

He packed his bag and left the hag.
He brought his sword without saying a word.
As he left the house he saw the blue sky
And the green woods to the right.
He embarked on his journey without a care.
Little did he know he would soon have white hair.
His path was set, find the claw of a griffin's paw.

The forest was dark and dreary
Not a good place to live and even worse to hunt.
All life was dead, the man wanted his bed.
Bravery was not him, he flue from the flu.
The quest he took was not the best.
He feared all that he saw.
Looking in the woods he saw and that is the end.

Back at the house he told the hag.
She got mad for he had been bad.
He said sorry but feared for his life.
The old hag was mad
And she needed the claw
For the spell she was to cast.
This hag was a witch and now w
as mad.
Cobardes Flight (part 2)

The fearful hero ran for the door.
But was stopped dead in his tracks.
He feared to die and wanted to cry.
But there was more to do.
He broke the spell and then he fell.
He knew he had to leave. The witch
Was after him and was a hag who was mad.

He ran to the forest to ease his fear.
He forgot where he was and felt a tear.
He looked for life, only to find signs of strife.
And the meaning of fear.
This was the witches doing
And she was coming for him.
What would she do? No one could say.

He ran though the forest and
Found the prize. The claw from a
Griffin's paw. He picked it up and
Ran with fear. He heard the flapping
Of heavy wings behind him. It was
The griffin, strong and tall, and looking
For his claw.

He gave it to the beast and fled with fear.
He was pursued by the beast.
He presumed it was looking for a feast.
The beast grabbed him with its paw,
Not the one missing a claw, and lifted him up.
It flew into the sky, he feared he would die.
It took him to a castle in the sky. And now
A new chapter begins...
Cobardes Deal (part 3)

As the griffin landed, it let him go.
A piercing scream filled the air
And caused him quite a scare. A group
Of men came, armed with swords,
He had no words of defense. They
Surrounded him and told him
To follow. And he did.

They took him under gaurd to the
Kings room. Distraught from the
Commotion, he ordered with a morion,
That the man be put away.
He was taken to the
Labyrinynth, filled with death
And decay, and told him to stay.

Later the next day the king
Came to see. He seemed filled with
Glee compared to the night before.
The man told the king his
Story and how he had to flee.
It seems the king knew of the witch
And wanted her gone.

The man seemed surprised. Is the
King requesting my service? he asked.
The look on his face surprised the
King. I thought you flew from the
Scene. He said. He replied that he was
Captured and flown and he never
Fled form the scene.

Finally a chance to prove himself
He thought. When the king asked
For information he eagerly gave it
And asked to join the cause. The
King was Leary but agreed. I just
Need to know one more thing before
We go, what is your name?...
