Yes, she is a Boston Terrier. Skeeter loves to play ball
and will actually bat the ball back to you when you throw it to her. She
will also bring it to you and throw it up in your chair when she wants you
to play!
She knows all her toys. If we say "go get your rope", she will bring
the rope. If we say, "go bring me your green frog" then she will bring the
frog. If we say, "I want the pink ball, not that white one," then she will
go get the pink ball. She knows all of her toys just by name and color.
She will go hunting all over the house to bring her newspaper, or whatever
we name until she finds it and brings it to you. She is so intelligent and
knows so much English, we have to spell things around her if we don't want
her to know what we are talking about!
"DON'T YOU DARE!!Touch my
ball"
She graduated from the Dog Training Club of St. Petersburg, FL and
received her Certificate of Completion on October 5, 1992.
She loves to ride in a car and goes on long walks with us. She sleeps
right in the bed under the cover in the winter time and on top of the
cover in the summer. She snores like a big man! It is unbelievable how
loud this little girl can snore. She jumps up in Mommie's arms anytime I
ask her to and can give some of the sweetest little kisses in the world.
She sits up, comes/stays anytime we ask her to.
"My favorite place to nap,On my own
Pillow!"
Skeeter loves all vegetables and fruits (broccoli, peas, squash,
tomatoes, grapes, apples, oranges, blackeyed peas, beans, collards,
rhutabagas (not sure about thatspelling), turnips, sweet potatoes,
carrots) and any other vegetable I haven't mentioned. She's a special
little girl and eats Solid Gold all natural dog food. If I bring her
something from the store, she gets into all the bags when I bring them in
until she finds her toy or treat ..
Skeeter is now blind but is still going strong.(2004)
