| Ham Loaf Preheat oven to 350. Combine in a large bowl: 1 lb. cooked ham, ground or finely chopped 1/2 lb. ground pork 1 onion, finely chopped 1 apple, peeled cored and finely chopped 1/2 c. cracker or dry bread crumbs 1/2 c. sour cream 2 eggs 1 tsp. dried mustard 1/4 tsp. ground all-spice 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/4 ground black pepper |
| 1. Mix all ingredients with hands until well blkended. 2. Place mixture into a lightly greased 9x5 inch loaf pan or shape it into a loaf in a shallow baking pan. 3. Mix together 3 tbsp. current or grape jelly and 2 tbsp. of prepared horseradish. 4. Bake until a thermometer reads 155, about 1.5-2 hours. 5. During baking, baste the loaf with the jelly mixture. Serve warm. |
