Dotcom Standard Poodles was ecstatic to welcome a new little Swedish boy into our home. Amadeus arrived in hot and sunny Port Elizabeth, South Africa on 15 March 2006, having left -20degrees temperatures in Stockholm, Sweden. He has the most wonderful temperament, bounced out of his crate as if he had been here all his life. He settled into his new home and with all the other poodles within a remarkably short space of time.
Having not seen very much other than snow, life became a huge adventure, flowers, birds, leaves and grass are all investigated with boundless enthusiasm. Leaves are collected and brought indoors for inspection and if found to make the grade, are carefully stored in little piles!!! Amadeus gets really huffy if I dare to clean up and throw his leaves away! :)

Our sincere thanks to breeder Suzanne Mårtensson and Anders Rosell for making it possible for us to own this wonderful standard poodle. He truly is an amazing dog, both in temperament and conformation and is going to make a huge impact on standard poodles in South Africa. We look forward to his show career which is sure to be an exciting one.
