Furan is not a luxury Bed and Breakfast only in the sense that you will not have a private bathroom.  In every other sense you will have luxury.  The owner wishes to create a true family atmosphere.

What you can expect is:

-  a comfortable room with heating, radio, television, tea/coffee making facilities, lots of books, mineral  water, telephone on request.

-  a sitting room with TV, video, DVD, stereo, more books, a wonderful view over hills and loch.  You will not be expected to go out during the day if you don't want to, or if the weather is poor.  General videos and nature videos are available as well as board games, children's games and jigsaws.

-  as much tea/coffee as you want at any time.  Meals other than breakfast by request.

-  a good breakfast to set you up for the day.  Menu includes fruit juice, cereal/porridge, home-made bread and toast, full range of Scottish cooked breakfast items or cheese, yogurt, etc.

-  an attentive hostess who will try to make you as comfortable as possible.  Nothing is too much trouble.

- a garden with wonderful views.  Usually cattle and sheep in neighbouring fields.  Unbelievable quietness.  No light pollution so stars can be seen clearly.

All this for 22 per person per night.  No single room supplements.  Children under 12 - half price.

BED AND BREAKFAST ON THE ISLE OF SKYE
There is a wide range of very good restaurants in Portree (7 miles) and an excellent meal can be eaten at Skye's oldest inn - Stein - 20 minutes' away.  This has wonderful views from a tiny harbour and is ideal for viewing sunsets.
Evening meals and packed lunches can be provided at
Furan by prior arrangement.
If making an enquiry or a booking by
e-mail, please use the word
ACCOMMODATION as the subject heading.  Too much junk mail means that I do not read any mail with no subject.
